Zoning Administrator Open PositionThe Town of Pownal is seeking a qualified individual for Zoning Administrator. This is a Selectmen appointed position based upon the recommendation of the Planning Commission. The Zoning Administrator position is part time, per diem position compensated with a monthly stipend of $400. After nomination by the Planning Commission the Planning & Zoning Administrator is appointed by the Selectboard, to a three (3) year term. The Planning & Zoning Administrator administratively reports to the Selectboard; and has technical reporting responsibility to the Planning Commission and the Development Review Board.
